Riconoscimenti anche per James Arthur, il cantante inglese vincitore della nona edizione di “X Factor” (da alcune settimane al centro di polemiche per via di una sua dichiarazione omofoba) al quale è andato l'”International Breakthrough of the Year”, e per Bruno Mars, insignito dell'”International Male Artist of the Year”. Torniamo a loro, One Direction e Katy Perry. La band si è portata a casa il riconoscimento “Video of the year” per “Best song ever” e anche l'”International Duo/Group of The Year”. Alcune ore dopo lo stesso Harry Styles, via Twitter, ha scritto: “Thank you so much to Nrj for having us. Thank you everyone who voted! You, me, oui“.
A Cannes due premi anche per Katy Perry, “International Female Artist of the Year” e, per “Roar”, “International Song of the Year”.
I premi conferiti dalla radio francese NRJ hanno dato grande risalto ai due ospiti internazionali delle ultime puntate di X-Factor Italia: come detto Katy Perry ha raccolto il doppio riconoscimento di Artista dell’Anno e Miglior Canzone dell’Anno, mentre gli 1D quelli di Gruppo dell’Anno e Miglior Video (“Best Song Ever”).
