E’ periodo di premi, noi teniamo da parte i nostri #VelvetAwards (a ognuno il suo), ma al di là dell’oceano fa notizia la scelta della Miglior Canzone Originale: stiamo parlando della Notte degli Oscar che a marzo 2014 “consegnerà” gli ambiti riconoscimenti in fatto di celluloide (e non solo). La categoria che ci sta più a cuore è quella sopra citata: in lizza troviamo nomi degni di nota, come gli U2 – con “Ordinary Love”, ovviamente – i Coldplay (“Atlas” dal secondo episodio di “Hunger Games” è stata anche candidata a un Grammy) e Lana Del Rey con “Young and Beautiful”. In tutto saranno 75 i brani a sperare di entrare in nomination: la strada porta allo scettro di “Original Song Award” (composizione originale) degli Oscar del Cinema…
Dai Coldplay agli U2, da Lana Del Rey a Taylor Swift
“Il grande Gatsby”, è questo il film più quotato in fatto di musica: fa la parte del leone con la sua colonna sonora di all-stars. La lista completa comprende 75 canzoni (potete vederla più sotto), tra gli altri fanno notizia i nomi di Florence and the Machine con “Over The Love”, Nero con “Together” e Lana Del Rey con “Young and Beautiful”. Segnaliamo anche Jay Z con “100$ Bill,” Fergie, Q-Tip e GoonRock con “A Little Party Never Killed Nobody (All We Got)”.
Come dicevamo in apertura, sono le band a suscitare maggiore curiosità: Coldplay (“Atlas”), U2 (“Ordinary Love”, favoriti visto il legame con Nelson Mandela), ma parte ben piazzata anche la biondissima Taylor Swift (“Sweeter Than Fiction”). Un gradino sotto, ma certamente vicini alla nomination, Pharrell Williams con “Happy”, Celine Dion con la sua versione di “Unfinished Song” e Jennifer Hudson con “Bleed for Love”.
NOTA: il regolamento prevede che in nomination non possano entrare più di due brani tratti da uno stesso film (l’Oscar va all’autore delle canzoni, non agli interpreti)
