Golden Globe, vince Billie Eilish
What Was I Made For? era in competizione con brani di grande spessore come Addicted to Romance di Bruce Springsteen per il film She Came to Me, Dance the Night di Dua Lipa, I’m Just Ken di Ryan Gosling, entrambe anch’esse inserite nella colonna sonora di Barbie.
Gli altri nominati erano di grandissimo valore: Mica Levi (The Zone of Interest), il compositore dello Studio Ghibli Joe Hisaishi (The Boy and the Heron), Daniel Pemberton (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse), Jerskin Fendrix (Poor Things) e il compianto Robbie Robertson, scomparso poche settimane fa, per Killers of the Flower Moon.
