I Billboard Music Awards 2017 si sono svolti nella notte tra domenica 21 e lunedì 22 maggio alla T-Mobile Arena di Las Vegas, condotti da Vanessa Hudgens e Ludacris. L’evento premia gli artisti che hanno ottenuto maggior successo annuale nelle classifiche di vendite, radiofoniche, streaming e generali, e in quelle R&B, Rap, Country, Pop, Rock, Latin, Dance, Christian e Gospel. Un vero e proprio record per Drake che è diventato l’artista più premiato di tutti i tempi, visto che si è portato a casa 13 statuette su 12 nomination, superando anche Adele che nel 2012 aveva ottenuto 12 riconoscimenti.
