Manca poco agli MTV Europe Music Awards 2016 che si terranno a Rotterdam il prossimo 6 novembre e così sono state svelate le nomination: Beyoncé e Justin Bieber sono in testa con 5 candidature ciascuno, mentre Adele li segue con 4. Le candidature per la categoria Best Song (Adele, Bieber, Rihanna, Lukas Graham e Mike Posner) sono state svelate con medley vocale di cover eseguire da Leroy Sanchez. Le votazioni sono aperte da martedì 27 settembre 2016 su mtvema.com, incluse quelle per il Best Italian Act, e saranno aperte fino alle 23.59 del 5 novembre.
Nei giorni scorsi i fan hanno scelto tramite Twitter il quinto candidato che si è aggiunto ai già annunciati Alessandra Amoroso, Emma, Francesca Michielin e Salmo: Benji e Fede hanno avuto la meglio su Alessio Bernabei, Annalisa Scarrone e Rocco Hunt (LEGGI ANCHE: MTV EMA 2016, BEST ITALIAN ACT. LE NOMINATION). Le premiazioni verranno trasmesse su MTV (canale 133 di Sky) in diretta dall’Ahoy Rotterdam di Rotterdam.
