Avicii sta per tornare con Stories, un album pronto a bissare il successo del premiatissimo True, uscito nel 2013. Sono tante le collaborazioni presenti nel disco (in arrivo in tutti i negozi il prossimo 25 settembre): una lunga lista composta da Robbie Williams, Ras, Simon Alred, Tom Odell, Alex Ebert, Noonie Bao, Simon Aldred, Tim Berling, Christ Martin dei Coldplay, AlunaGeorge, Wyclef Jean, Matisyahu, Lp, Bon Jovi, Billie Joe Armstrong, Daniel Adams-Ray, Milky Chance, Audra Mae e Zac Brown Band.
Saranno diciotto tracce, ma non tutte sono completamente inedite, visto che sono state già anticipate The Nights con Ras, The Days con Williams, Waiting for love con Aldred e Broken Arrows con Brown. Questo lavoro avrà lo stesso successo del primo? True (da cui sono stati pubblicati Wake Me Up, You Make Me, Hey Brother, Addicted to You e Lay Me Down come singoli) è entrato nella top ten di oltre una decina di Paesi: ha debuttato direttamente alla posizione numero due nel Regno Unito ed è risalito alla stessa posizione qualche mese dopo.
In quel caso con il dj svedese hanno collaborato il cantante di musica country Mac Davis, il chitarrista e produttore statunitense Nile Rodgers, il cantante soul Aloe Blacc, Mike Einziger della rock band statunitense Incubus, Sterling Fox, il cantautore Dan Tyminski della band di musica bluegrass Alison Krauss and Union Station e Adam Lambert.
