Grande show allo Staples Center
Lady Gaga e Miley Cyrus snobbate già in fase di nomination, Rihanna, Jay Z e Bruno Mars tornano a casa con un premio “di consolazione”. Katy Perry si vede superare al traguardo dalla ‘ragazzina’ Lorde. Lorde ok, Katy Perry Ko
Il nostro titolo non mente: a trionfare sono stati i Daft Punk che hanno portato a casa ben cinque Grammy (tra cui “Album of The Year” con “Random Access Memories” e “Record of the year” con “Get Lucky”). Quest’ultima, in sostanza, divide la palma di ‘canzone dell’anno’ con la vera sorpresa della serata, sorpresa che – a dir la verità – tutti si aspettavano: Lorde brilla con la sua “Royals”. Per la la giovanissima popstar doppia affermazione con “Song Of The Year” e “Pop Solo Performance”, l’altra faccia della medaglia è (altra piccola sorpresa) rappresentata da Katy Perry che lascia i fan a bocca asciutta: per la prima volta nominata grazie alla sua “Roar”, ma senza alcuna vittoria.
